Please note: This trip went down back in May. But seeing as Tali and I are about to head out on a major trek in less than two weeks, I’m doing my best to clear out all my backlogged travel tales; I don’t need to-be-written blog posts hanging over my head as I hit the Himalayas.

I never planned for this.
If you caught me just five years ago, I was certain I’d end up in New York, writing full time for some magazine, ideally about rock’n'roll.
