About

Hi! Thanks for stopping by. Don’t worry about your shoes, just come on in. My name, as you can guess by my URL, is Justin H. Jacobs. I’m a journalist, editor and proofreader living in Tel Aviv. Before moving out of the US, I was the associate editor of the Pittsburgh Jewish Chronicle, having graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with degrees in English Writing and Religious Studies. I now keep busy with a full docket of freelance work, most often writing about music and the arts, though I have experience writing about travel, health and fitness, hard news, religious issues and humor. When not writing, I’m traveling (see my Life Abroad page), hiking, cooking, hitting up as many concerts as possible and occasionally sleeping.

I am available to write for you or your publication. I also work for those in need of editing and proofreading of academic papers, manuscripts, resumes and prose. To inquire about rates, please contact me via my Contact page.
